G'Day Mates
with Paul Killingly

G’day! My name is Paul Killingly. I am an Australiana entertainer from Down Under.

I play in a family band called “The Culprits”, which includes my two daughters Col (17) and Cal (14) and my son John (11).

We come from The Whitsundays, the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef on the North East coast of Queensland, Australia.

We play a variety of traditional Aussie songs and tunes on fiddle, mandolin, guitar, didgeridoo and lagerphone and you can come and see us at the Australian Festival in November this year in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

In our show “The Jolly Swagman Show”, we sing songs and tell stories about Australia and its folklore from the 1800’s through to the present day.

Come and spend some time with us and you’ll find out how to talk Australian, how to make a lagerphone and how to do some traditional Aussie Bushdances.

You’ll learn about swagmen, billabongs, jumbucks, boyangs, shearers, sheep, blokes, shelias, didgeridoos, how to yell “Cooee!”, how to say “G’Day!” and the story behind Australia’s most famous song “Waltzing Matilda.”

We look forward to meeting you at the festival.
