Founded in Nashville, Tennessee in 1997 

Australian Festival - Sheep Herding in NashvilleThe Australian Festival was founded in Nashville, Tennessee in 1997. From the early days of the Festival, a commitment to Australian authenticity - matched with quality and attention to detail - produced the largest Australian celebration in North America.

Over 50,000 patrons attended the Festival between 1997-2006 in Nashville, Tennessee enjoying Australian arts & culture, tourism & travel, education & immigration and business & trade - all from the Land Down Under. The Australian Festival featured 10 key areas and operated 4 premier events that provided a unique Australian experience for the whole family. 

The Festival operated between 1997-2006 at Elmington Park and Centennial Park in Nashville, Tennessee. The Festival completed it's 10th and final year of operation in Nashville in 2006.

In 2007 The Australian Festival relocated to South Florida and the first "Florida" festival was run in November of 2007. The Festival is now looking to establish itself as an online source promoting Australia in the United States as well as positioning the festival to be part of the Australia Day celebrations that take place world wide on January 26 each year.
